Mr. Jauhari, a distinguished Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer with over 35 years of experience, has devoted his career to public service and nation building. Selected for UC Berkeley at 19, he chose to remain in India and serve society, clearing the civil services while pursuing his PhD at the University of Allahabad. He served over a decade in Assam during peak insurgency, including as District Magistrate, contributing significantly to restoring peace. As Joint DGFT, he helped shape India’s trade policies, and as Adviser in the Indian Mission to the EU, led engagements in global trade and diplomacy. At NITI Aayog, he provided policy leadership across sectors and managed over 1 lakh NGOs nationwide.
